Logistics within Barron McCann review all inventory requirements based on customer estate size, geography, in depth knowledge of equipment and previous or anticipated failure rates, spares environment, return/repair loop and required customer SLA then calculate precisely what we need to hold and where this needs to be located throughout UK, ROI and Europe.
In strategic locations throughout Spain, Germany, Poland and many other Countries Internationally, we hold and manage stock, offering same day or overnight delivery Worldwide as well as return logistics throughout Europe, point to point deliveries or collections Worldwide.
To meet customer-specific requirements we adapt stock reports making them available via our Web portal or EDI link.
Supported by 27 x Forward Stock Locations through the UK and ROI where business critical spares are held on a 365 days x 24 hour basis. All stock used is ‘intelligently’ replenished 6 days a week to ensure 100% stock availability throughout the network.
The Forward Stock Locations are further supported by over 1,000 locked box locations mapped to our engineer’s locations, ensuring engineers are no more than 2.5 miles away from their box to collect and return spares. All parts are within 2 hours of customer locations.
Our logistics management team has real time visibility of all stock holdings, ensuring quick and accurate supply to our Field Service Engineers. This enables us to maximise the first time fix rate and provide a world-class maintenance service without having to hold excessive and costly inventory.
