Secure data destruction

Any end of life IT equipment you entrust to us for disposal will be completely destroyed with no risk of the data being retrieved.

We offer a complete managed secure data disposal service, on or off-site, up to and including HM Government TOP SECRET (IL6), and in full compliance to HMG IA Standard No5 (Secure Sanitisation of Protectively Marked or Sensitive Information). The service, staff and equipment used are fully compliant with the Security Policy Framework mandatory requirement 45.

Every secure data destruction undertaken has its own audit trail. On completion, you will be issued with itemised data destruction and WEEE directive certificates.

Mobile destruction

Barron McCann offers the UK's most comprehensive and trusted mobile service for securely dealing with protectively marked and sensitive data onsite. Our Government approved data destruction service is accredited and in full compliance to HMG IA Standard No5.

Equipment is initially destroyed on-site using CESG higher-level approved degaussing equipment operated by personnel with appropriate security clearances. Secret (IL5) and Top Secret (IL6) media equipment is then completely disintegrated using accredited shredding equipment.

For organisations who choose an off-site service, media is transported in our locked GPS tracked secure vehicle to our Government approved destruction facility.
